Sun Kyu Baek is the president of Fastem group of companies. In 1980, he first started his business in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In 2000, he established Fastem Group of Companies in Manila, Philippines.

Prior to starting his own companies, Mr. Baek spent decades with one of leading Korean construction companies as a manager in the Middle East, building up his expertise in the field of construction and management.

Mr. Baek graduated from Korea University where he served as the president of student council in his graduating year.

Mr. Baek joined Fastem in June 2005. Prior to joining Fastem, Youn was at Goldman Sachs and Co. and a privately held Wall Street Hedge Fund firm in NYC. He has an extensive knowledge of commodities, derivatives, hedging and financial modeling.

Youn earned his B.A. in economics and M.A. in humanities from the University of Chicago and his MBA from Georgetown University.

Mr. Baraoidan reports directly to the President. Mr. Baraoidan has worked with leading local companies and multinational companies in his long career. Mr. Baraoidan brings many years of experience in civil engineering and management. Currently he serves as the regional manager for the company’s Cebu branch.

Mr. Baraoidan received his B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering from University of Santo Tomas where he served as a professor for six years upon graduating.

Mr. Gerardo as he is fondly called is a civil engineer, a professional title he acquired after he passed the board licensure examination on May 1985 in Manila. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Santo Tomas on the same year.

Mr. Gerardo has undergone numerous seminars and special trainings

Being a pro-active department head of the Engineering, he firmly maintains his disposition in upholding the office commitment towards quality and customer oriented service, and the value of teamwork to achieve common goals to fully realize the mission and vision of the office.
